Higashikata is the other half of the Jimmies pair and, obvious and necessarily, one of people with he has more likeness. Not missing too that they could be very good friends out the courts.

Minami says: "Sengoku's luck has proved very useful to us. Remember to get lucky again next time!"

Sengoku is his vice-captain and the "lucky charm" of the team. With him, Minami is very pacient at his relaxed and happy attitude, and Sengoku is friendly with all his teammates (including Akutsu).

He's the first who calls them "Jimmies", which isn't funny for the captain.

Minami prefers to maintain a wise distance of him. He respects Akutsu like a member of the team and a very tallented player, although he has the same impression of him that most of people: keeping out of his way is the best choice.

Minami says: "He's only a 2nd year yet already a regular. With him around, the future of Yamabuki looks bright!"

The info says that Muromachi was the best singles player before Akutsu entered the team (obviously the N°1 of Yamabuki was the Ace Sengoku). Maybe Minami planned to give the captain title to him the next year. 

The same as Sengoku thinks that Taichi can be the next support for the team after the seniors (Minami, Sengoku, Higashikata and Nitobe) graduate, so he expects very much about the freshman too.

As good coach, Banjii took charge of transforming the Jimmies into the strongest doubles pair in Yamabuki. His treatment with Minami is the same as with the rest of the team, giving opportune advices and motivating them to improve.
