Well, Minami isn't the most popular captain from Kantou region, but serves him as comfort the fact of being part of a very strong team rival that gave good duels to their opponents and they also aspire to reach more.
Maybe one day the team would face Seigaku at the Nationals, but it'll be decided by the determination and skills.
